Artist Lee Hutton, a New York based artist who now resides in Boynton Beach is exhibiting his giclee print editions at Nestler Poletto Sotherby’s International Realty of Boca Raton.

Lee Hutton is the first artist exhibiting in the new year-long monthly series of art openings entitled, “An Evening with the Artist”, that will take place the third Thursday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. in Nestler Poletto Sotherby’s International Realty’s Boca Raton office located at 200 East Palmetto Park Road.

Creating a limited Edition Giclee Print

Mr. Hutton is exhibiting a giclee limited edition print series created here at Prints Giclee Shop.  The series of 19 works was created from original oils on canvas.  The canvases were scanned with our large format fine art scanner capable of scans up to 8′ in any direction.  Once the originals were scanned and proofs were made, the artist and Prints Giclee Shop master printer Gerardo Gonzalez-Quevedo met to discuss and select the proofs from which the final edition will be created.

Selecting the Final Proof and Substrate

After the proof selection was made and final edition numbers were discussed the giclee prints were created.  Mr. Hutton and Gerardo selected Hot Press Fine Art paper by Epson as the final substrate for the giclee prints.  Hot Press Fine Art is a beautiful matte, 100% cotton, acid free paper that yields deep blacks with a luscious velvet like appearance.

Framing the Giclee Print Edition

Finally a frame was selected to finish the look and presentation of the edition.  Ulises our framing specialist here at Prints Giclee Shop helped Mr. Hutton to create a contemporary, sleek and professional look with a white matte frame. The print was mounted to black 1/2″ acid free board with a 2″ white border.
