I have personally spent hours searching online for the most unique photo display ideas for my own pictures. Because there are so many photos in my collection that I love, it’s on my list to get this project done. BUT – getting my photos off my phone and actually get them printed seems to be a major feat for me (and I’m sure many others) these days. Even when I do get them printed, they tend to get pushed to the side and eventually stashed away in a photo storage box. So instead of the age old “go to” of simply stocking up on a million stock frames at the craft store and taking over an entire wall by randomly nailing them up, I’ve actually found some really cool photo display ideas that I wanted to share with you.

These 3 ideas are pretty clever and unexpected, and most of them are so easy, you can get them ordered and any DIY can get done after the kids go to bed. Just don’t expect any lame ideas like mouse pads, photo mugs, or magnets — you already know all about those, right?

2. Custom Giclee Prints

Paper Prints Giclee

Pronounced “jhee-clay”, this type of print is done by using a sophisticated inkjet printing method. It merges the use of professional grade large format printers with archival pigment inks, acid free watercolor papers and canvas. By using custom profiles, precise color correction and expert scanning, pigment printing can render subtle gradations and many colors that would be out of range with other technologies. This is a great way to display unique pieces of art, watercolor paintings, photography, or reproductions of paintings that you love (but don’t have the budget to have the original!).

3. Custom Photo Wall Paper
