Prints Giclee Shop is an artist owned and operated full service fine art digital printing company offering giclee printing in Miami area. We use our professionally trained artists’ eyes to ensure you get the most accurate color possible. Our knowledge of the printing process as well as our use of only the best Museum quality, archival and acid free materials allows us to achieve the highest quality paper or print on canvas possible. We have the latest imaging equipment and profiling technology available, such as the latest Epson Stylus Pro 9900 printers with 11 – K3 pigment inks, including green and orange for a wider color gamut.
No matter how sophisticated our printers are, we would not be able to get the results we get if we did not have a great art capturing system in place. Our flatbed scanner together with our custom over-sized scanning table allows us to capture original art measuring up to 8′ in any direction. All our equipment is completely calibrated with each other, from the scanner to the monitors to the printers.
Our goal as fine art printers is to help our artists achieve the recognition and exposure they deserve by giving them the finest quality prints possible. We can do that because we handle their work with the same respect and care that we use when working on our own art. We have the same sensibilities and speak the same language as the artists that we work with. We also understand how important the safety of your work is. With that in mind we have created “the Art Vault”, a place to organize, label and safe keep your original art as well as your prints from the moment you leave them in our possession until you come to pick them up.
Fine art digital printing is advantageous to artists who do not find it feasible to mass produce their work, but want to reproduce their art as needed, or on-demand. Once an image is digitally archived, additional reproductions can be made with minimal effort and reasonable cost. The prohibitive up-front cost of mass production for an edition is eliminated. Artists do not need to store large quantities of prints, avoiding possible damage to their investment. Archived files will not deteriorate in quality as negatives and film do. Another tremendous advantage of Fine art digital printing is that digital images can be reproduced to almost any size and onto various media, giving the artist the ability to customize prints for a specific client if desired.
